Relive the glorious moments and epic battles of The Lord of the Rings in the live movie concert The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring. Fans can look forward to Howard Shore's three-hour-long Academy and Grammy Award-winning score being performed on stage by 250 musicians.
The first instalment of Peter Jackson's Oscar-winning film trilogy (based on J RR Tolkien's novels) will be projected above the performers on a full-sized cinematic screen, making it a breathtaking aural, visual and emotional experience.
American maestro Justin Freer will conduct the three performances, marshalling the combined musical forces of the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, the International Festival Chorus and The Young Voices of Vocal Associates.
The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring concert will be held at The Star Performing Arts Centre from June 6-8 at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from Sistic.
