When two worlds collide in the face of a tragic romance, a relentless pursuit leads to a bold and dramatic twist of fate.
Romeo and Juliet is one of the world’s most classic romance and it will be performed to Prokofiev’s heart-rending music played by the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra. With drama at its core, this ballet coalesces swordplay, humour, and stunning choreography into a sensational statement of the true essence of beauty in ballet.
Romeo and Juliet is a timeless ballet that soared and inspired the greatest choreographers through centuries. SDT’s production of Romeo and Juliet was created by legendary Singaporean choreographer Choo-San Goh, and staged by Janek Schergen, Artistic Director of SDT.
Romeo and Juliet is a stunning ballet that will leave your heart in the theatre even after you’ve left. Would you dare to fall in love all over again? Would you dare to dance with us?
